I was commissioned to write two pieces for Mr McFall's Chamber, an innovative string quintet, here expanded with two drummers and piano for the album. Other tracks feature arrangements by Robert McFall of music composed by the late Martyn Bennett, also MB's composition for string quartet and scottish smallpipes.
